Japan to offer up to 968 mil. yen for personnel training in China
Japan will extend up to 968 million yen in grants to China to promote human resource development in Dalian in the country's northeastern area, the government said Tuesday.
Japanese Ambassador to China Koreshige Anami and Chinese Assistant Commerce Minister Yi Xiaozhun exchanged documents in Beijing the same day on the aid for a project to construct the China-Japan Friendship Dalian Center for Human Resources Development.
The center, to be built jointly by Dalian authorities and the Chinese central government, aims to train personnel who have a practical level of Japanese proficiency and are versed in information technology, engineering and management.
At present, there are about 2,150 Japanese companies operating in Dalian and the Japanese government expects Chinese personnel trained at the center to land jobs at those firms. |
