Well, I'm italian, from Rome, and I went to Paris twice. I must say that everything depends on the place in which you live, and your way of life. I read some posts ago that streets in Paris are dirty...Well, trust me, Rome is even worse! The first time i came to paris i was pretty amused about this city, it was perfect to me. Very clean, i liked the people, i loved the air that you can breath in paris, it's really magic.

But i also think that clichès are been invented because in part they are truth. I mean...Italians are always considerated as the stupid cousins of the frenches... And it's true! We're really an underdeveloped country! We have just two tube lines, our transport sucks...A ticket for cinema or museum costs very much, in french there are days in which tickets are free (and when i went to see the louvre i didn't paid, and my grandmother had been exempted from the row because of her old age. In italy something like that doesn't exist). I found the city wonderful and i decided to return! It's for this that i'm studying french at high school.

I am really frustrated about these things. I think taht your way of judge depends on the place you lived. It doesn't matter if french people is
unpleasant, smelly and stupid. Because it's better than italians.
